Job summary

Deye New Energy Tech is seeking an experienced Solar Service Technician to perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on solar PV systems in a customer-facing role. You will install, repair, and troubleshoot on-site while maintaining thorough documentation and reporting.

The role requires strong knowledge of solar and electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work independently in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Solar Service Technician.
• Proven experience as a Solar Technician or in a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform varying corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for solar PV systems.
• Interact with customers on a professional level as part of a multi-tasking team.
• Perform onsite installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Check and provide complete documentation to clients.
• Carry out site root analysis.
• Attend the conference and B2B meetings to assess new solar PV system technologies
• Apply root cause analysis techniques on all major and recurring faults.
• Investigate technical failures and prepare formal technical reports.
• Record keeping and management of spare part movements.
• Able to develop training materials and courseware.
• Provide technical training and technical guidance to customers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Solar Service Technician
• Professional fluency in English for written and verbal communication is required
• Proven experience as a Solar Technician or in a related field.
• Strong understanding of solar energy systems, electrical systems, and safety protocols
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Relevant certifications or licenses preferred (e.g., NABCEP Solar PV Installer Certification).
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
