Job summary

MPP Meat Import Corporation is seeking a Solar Project Engineer to design, manage and implement solar energy systems from concept to commissioning. You will lead planning, conduct site assessments, and coordinate with contractors to ensure on-time delivery while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

You will use PVsyst, AutoCAD and Helioscope to create layouts and perform energy yield analyses, while monitoring performance with SCADA and SolarEdge tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and managing solar PV projects.
• Ability to interpret performance data and optimize energy production.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience maintaining field assets and company-provided equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, planning, and implementation of solar projects including PV systems.
• Perform site assessments and energy yield analyses to optimize performance and cost.
• Use PV design tools (PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope) for system design.
• Create electrical and structural layouts for installations.
• Operate and analyze data with Power Quality Analyzer.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning, budgeting, scheduling.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders for on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, IEEE and energy regulations.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
