Job summary

Terra Solar Philippines, Inc. seeks a Legal Counsel based in Gapan, Nueva Ecija, to support solar project development. The role requires a JD and Philippine Bar, with 5–8 years in energy or infrastructure law, and strong drafting/negotiation skills.

The successful candidate will handle contracts, land-related documentation, and regulatory submissions, coordinating with DOE, ERC, DENR, NGCP and LGUs. Onsite presence is required to drive timely project execution.

Qualifications

• JD degree with bar admission in the Philippines.
• 5–8 years of legal experience in energy, power, or infrastructure law.
• Experience with renewable energy projects and large-scale infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine energy regulatory framework.
• Experience handling land-related legal documentation is a plus.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end legal support for solar energy project development and execution.
• Lead and review contracts including EPC, supply, O&M, land lease, and service agreements.
• Oversee land acquisition, ROW documentation, due diligence, and title verification.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine energy laws, environmental regulations, and LGU requirements.
• Liaise with DOE, ERC, DENR, NGCP, and local government units for permitting and submissions.
• Identify legal risks and provide mitigation strategies aligned with project timelines.
• Assist in dispute resolution, claims management, and negotiations.
