Job summary

Solar Philippines is seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Counsel to join its legal team in Metro Manila. The role provides strategic legal guidance on corporate matters, governance, compliance, commercial contracts, and business transactions.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in corporate housekeeping, contract review and negotiation, and experience in people management, with the ability to work closely with senior management and across business units.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Law / Juris Doctor or equivalent.
Member of the Philippine Bar.
At least 5 years of relevant legal experience, including corporate housekeeping, contract drafting, review, and negotiation, governance and compliance, and M&A or corporate transactions.
Experience in people management or leading a legal team is advantageous.
Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work closely with senior management and various business functions.
Strong understanding of Philippine corporate laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic legal guidance on corporate matters, governance, compliance, contracts, and business transactions.
Support corporate housekeeping and contract reviews within the legal team.
