Job summary

Edward Marcs Philippines Incorporated in Davao Region is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical systems for solar PV rooftop and ground-mounted projects. You will prepare single-line diagrams, layout plans, cable schedules and panel configurations.

You will perform load calculations, select equipment, review specs, assist tender documentation, and support site assessments and commissioning to ensure installations meet approved designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and REE licensure.
• 1–2 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in solar.
• Involvement with solar ground-mount projects is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, inverters, and solar power distribution.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar electrical design tools.
• Familiarity with load calculations and power system analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for solar PV rooftop and farm projects.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, layout plans, cable schedules, and panel configurations.
• Perform load calculations and select equipment for compliance and safety.
• Review technical specs, support tender/proposal docs, and assist in site assessments.
