Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking an experienced Software Tester to review specifications, prepare and execute test cases, and drive defect resolution across web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with developers, data analysts, and business users to ensure quality in functional, automation, integration, and regression testing.

The role requires 3–5 years’ experience in testing, API testing with SOAP-UI and POSTMAN, and database knowledge.

Qualifications

3–5 years of software tester experience or similar role.
Experience with API testing using SOAP-UI and POSTMAN.
Hands-on testing of web-based and mobile applications.
Working knowledge of SQL/Oracle databases.
Understanding of the bug life cycle and testing levels.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze system specifications.
Prepare test cases, scripts, and data.
Execute manual or automated tests and analyze results.
Identify and document defects with developers for retesting.
Perform functional, automation, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
Coordinate UAT with developers, data/business analysts, and users.
Notify leads of major issues and ensure quality across the SDLC.
