Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application code for new projects, enhancements and defect fixes.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support to Helpdesk and peers.
• Investigate production issues, resolve defects, and implement enhancements.
• Participate in after-hours support on a rotational basis.
• Monitor application and system service alerts and respond to maintain stability.
• Advise IT management on assigned applications and provide expert guidance.
• Serve as Technical Lead for projects with architecture design and task estimation.
• Propose and implement technology improvements to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster growth and knowledge sharing.

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer to join our application development and support team. The role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications, while working closely with cross‑functional teams including Commercial, PMO, Software Architects, Business Architects, and Quality Assurance.

The ideal candidate must have a strong technical foundation, enjoys hands‑on development, and is keen to work in cloud‑native, modern application environments. Senior Engineers are expected to provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain application code for new projects, enhancements, and defect fixes to ensure robust product functionality.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support to Helpdesk and peers, resolving issues for CCN products efficiently.
• Investigate production system issues, resolve defects, and implement enhancements to maintain system reliability.
• Participate in after-hours support on a rotational basis to ensure continuous system availability.
• Monitor application and system service alerts and respond promptly to maintain operational stability.
• Act as a trusted adviser to supervisors and IT management on assigned applications, providing expert guidance.
• Serve as Technical Lead for projects by designing application architecture, breaking down tasks, estimating effort, and assigning work to meet quality and timeline goals.
• Propose and implement technology improvements to increase team efficiency and system reliability.
• Support training, coaching, and mentoring of team members to foster technical growth and knowledge sharing.

Required competencies and certifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant software development experience.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in application development and maintenance, microservices-based development, and technical leadership or equivalent responsibilities (for senior role).

Preferred competencies and qualifications:

• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams to deliver iterative software solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation to streamline deployments.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles to support secure application development.

Other Information:

• Core development skills include C# / .NET, WCF, Web API, ReactJS and/or Angular, JavaScript and/or NodeJS, JSON, XML, Redis, and Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or higher).
• Cloud and container expertise with hands‑on Microsoft Azure, Docker containerization, AKS or Kubernetes orchestration, Helm chart deployment, and microservices architecture understanding.
