A leading consultancy firm in Metro Manila is looking for a Software Development Manager to oversee the development and management of a commercial lending platform. This role requires 9+ years of software development experience, with a strong emphasis on leadership and proficiency in TypeScript. Software Development Manager (TypeScript) | WFH - Up to 220K Salary
National Capital Region, Philippines
₱ 160,000.00 - 220,000.00 (Philippine Peso)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and management of the client’s commercial lending platform.
• Lead a team of developers, drive technical direction, and ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
• Guide and mentor the development team on coding, design, and architecture best practices.
• Plan and oversee user stories to ensure timely and on-scope delivery.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable system architectures.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues and roadblocks to keep projects on track.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advocate for relevant new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 9+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience with commercial lending platforms is preferred, but any financial background is acceptable
• Proficiency in TypeScript is required; experience with VueJS, Node.js, AWS, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL is a plus
• Experienced in building systems from the ground up
• Expertise with cloud platforms (preferably AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledgeable of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile teams
• Skilled in leading, inspiring, and developing high-performing technical teams
• Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
• Can start immediately if possible
