Salary: ₱ 160,000.00 - 220,000.00 (Philippine Peso)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Lead Developer to join our client\'s team and lead the development, implementation, and management of their commercial lending platform. You will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction of the platform. Leading a squad of talented developers, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise software development within the financial services industry.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and design.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of user stories, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Support the design and implementation of scalable and maintainable system architectures. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Address technical issues and roadblocks, finding effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Commercial lending platform experience preferred; any financial-related background is acceptable
- Proficiency in TypeScript is required; VueJS, Node, AWS, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL are a plus
- Experienced in building systems from the ground up
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines
- In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile teams
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing technical teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
