Job summary

ScalableOS seeks a senior developer to advance the OneLynk SaaS platform for government contractors. Design scalable, cloud-native ERP modules and lead core backend features such as finance, HR, procurement, and compliance.

You will mentor engineers, implement CI/CD, and ensure security, reliability, and regulatory compliance while working in a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
• 5+ years in business systems software development.
• 7-10 years SaaS software development using JEE and AWS.
• 7-10 years OO programming in Java with collections, reflection and generics.
• 5+ years enterprise apps using SQL databases (Oracle/MySQL) and JEE (JPA, EJBs, JMS).
• 7-10 years UI development using Angular/PrimeNG.
• 7-10 years DevOps with AWS, configuring and deploying virtual servers, CI/CD.
• Willing to work from home long-term.
• Willing to permanent night shift.

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of scalable SaaS solutions.
• Define and implement multi-tenant ERP architecture with HA and secure cloud deployment.
• Apply advanced design patterns for maintainability and performance.
• Develop and optimize core ERP modules (finance, HR, procurement, etc).
• Use Claude Code and other AI tools to write clean, testable ERP features.
• Refactor code to improve efficiency and reduce issues.
• Integrate third-party systems and APIs (payment gateways, document management, compliance).
• Support DevOps and CD pipelines; containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Mentor engineers; conduct code reviews and knowledge sharing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and Architecture Scalable SaaSSolutions
  
• Define and implement system architecturethat supports multi-tenant ERP modules, high availability, and securecloud-based deployment.
  
• Apply advanced design patterns andarchitectural principles to ensure maintainability, scalability, andperformance.
  
• Develop and Optimize Core ERP Modules
  
• Utilize Claude Code and other AI enabletools to develop clean, maintainable, and testable code for mission-criticalERP features such as finance/accounting, HR, contract/project management,procurement, order management and compliance.
  
• Refactor existing codebases to improveefficiency and reduce technical issues.
  
• Integrate Third-Party Systems and APIs
  
• Design and implement secure integrationswith payment gateways, document management systems, government compliancetools, and other SaaS services.
  
• Support DevOps and Continuous DeliveryPractices
  
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automatedtesting frameworks, and containerized deployments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  
• Monitor production systems for uptime,security, and performance, and respond to incidents with root cause analysis.
  
• Mentor and Guide Engineering Teams
  
• Provide technical leadership to junior andmid-level engineers, conducting code reviews, pair programming, andknowledge-sharing sessions.
  
• Foster best practices in agile softwaredevelopment, secure coding, and quality assurance.
  
• Ensure Compliance, Security, and DataPrivacy
  
• Implement role-based access control,encryption, and other security measures to protect sensitive ERP data.
  
• Stay updated on compliance requirements(e.g., FedRAMP, SOC 2, GDPR) and ensure the platform meets or exceeds thesestandards.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’sdegree in computer science or software engineering
  
• Atleast 5 years’ experience developing business systems software
  
• Atleast 7-10 years’ experience developing SaaS software using JEE and Amazon webservices.
  
• Atleast 7-10 years’ experience in object-oriented programming language, such asJava, including extensive use of Java Collections, Reflection and Genericslibraries to build mission critical business applications.
  
• Atleast 5 years developing enterprise applications using SQL databases such asOracle and MySQL and JEE libraries including JPA, EJBs, JMS messaging and REST.Must have extensive knowledge of building backend REST-based APIs using JPA orHibernate and GraphOL.
  
• Atleast 7-10 years designing, developing and debugging user interfaces softwareusing Angular/Prime NG web development toolkit.
  
• Atleast 7-10 years in DevOps utilizing Amazon web services to support configuringand deploying virtual servers, maintaining and optimizing SQL databases andutilizing CI/CD for deploying enterprise software
  
• Should be willing to accept along-term work-from-home arrangement.
  
• Should be amenable to a permanentnight shift schedule
