Job summary

Sunstar is seeking a Social Media Manager in the Philippines to oversee its presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, turning projects into credible content and qualified inquiries.

This role requires a degree in Marketing or related field, 1–3 years of experience, and hands-on with Canva or Adobe, plus English and Filipino writing. You will manage content calendars, shoot on site, and optimize paid campaigns within budget.

Responsibilities

• Monitor comments and inquiries; route qualified leads to Business Development.
• Track reach, engagement, followers and leads; suggest improvements.
• Run and optimize paid boosts within the budget.
• Keep brand voice and asset library organized.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the monthly content calendar across all Sunstar channels.

• Create posts, reels, carousels, and short-form video — including capturing video at project sites.

• Write captions and copy in English and Filipino that suit each platform and audience.

• Cover completed installations as case studies and testimonials, coordinating client approval before publishing.

• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and enquiries; route qualified leads to Business Development promptly.

• Track and report on reach, engagement, follower growth, and leads generated; recommend what to do more or less of.

• Run and optimize paid boosts and ad campaigns within an agreed budget.

• Keep brand voice and visual identity consistent, and maintain an organized library of project and assets.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Multimedia Arts, or a related field — or an equivalent portfolio.

• 1–3 years managing social media for a business or brand (a portfolio of accounts you've run is required).

• Hands-on with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite and mobile video editing (CapCut or similar).

• Comfortable shooting usable video on site, including rooftops.

• Strong writing in English and Filipino.

• Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite, scheduling tools, and platform analytics.

• Experience with Meta and TikTok paid ads (nice to have).

• Interest in solar, energy, sustainability, or construction (nice to have).

• Basic motion graphics or drone footage skills (nice to have).

• Experience handling enquiries or basic lead qualification (nice to have).
