Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Digital Strategist to craft social and digital strategies rooted in consumer insights, platform behavior, and performance data. You'll collaborate with the Strategy Lead to translate research into concrete strategic recommendations guiding content and creative development.

The role emphasizes developing client objectives-driven strategies, monitoring platform trends, and presenting clear insights to teams and clients as part of an agency environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in digital strategy, social media strategy, communications planning, brand strategy or a related role, preferably within an agency environment.
• Experience working on retail, health, beauty and wellness brands is a plus.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, META and emerging social platforms and behaviors.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to turn information and data into clear recommendations.
• Familiarity with social listening, analytics and research tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop social and digital strategies based on client objectives, audience insights, category context and platform behavior.
• Support the development of campaign strategies, always‑on content strategies, social playbooks and other strategic frameworks.
• Monitor social conversations, consumer behavior, platform trends and relevant cultural moments across assigned brands and categories.
• Help define the role of each social platform within the brand's overall content ecosystem.
• Review social and campaign performance to understand what worked, what did not and why.
• Turn performance data into clear learnings and recommendations for succeeding content and campaigns.
• Present research, insights and strategic recommendations clearly to internal teams and clients.
