Job summary

Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a SOC Operator in our Philippines facilities to support enterprise security operations with real-time monitoring and incident intake. You will triage events, document actions in incident management or case tracking systems, and coordinate responses during 24/7 operations, ensuring timely escalation and compliance with security policies.

This in-person role requires 1+ year experience in security operations and strong communication to support duty of care

Qualifications

• 1+ years in security operations, monitoring, dispatch, or related role.
• Experience in a SOC or 24/7 operations environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and escalation protocols in time-sensitive situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for operational documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise security systems, alarms and dashboards to identify real-time incidents.
• Serve as primary intake point for incidents via phone, email, alarms, or notifications.
• Triage events to determine priority and required response actions, escalate as needed.
• Accurately document incidents, actions taken and outcomes in incident management or case tracking systems.
• Maintain awareness of active incidents and provide timely updates during events.
