Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or with maximum 1 year of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; eager to learn and grow in credit underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Credit Evaluation: assess SME loan applicants' creditworthiness using financial data and reports.
• Risk Assessment: identify key risks, mitigating factors, and overall borrower strength.
• Due Diligence & Compliance: ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with teams to gather information and understand borrowers’ businesses.
• Credit Decisioning & Portfolio Monitoring: prepare recommendations, maintain loan records, monitor borrowers, and improve underwriting processes.
