First Circle is a fast-growing FinTech shaping SME credit services. We seek a Risk Operations Analyst to evaluate loan applicants, assess risk, and support underwriting in a hybrid Manila setup. You will work with experienced professionals and contribute to a scalable credit process.

Ideal candidates have a business/finance background, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Excel. Fresh grads welcome as we pursue growth in multi-currency banking services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office; eager to learn credit underwriting.

Risk Operations Analyst

you will play a critical role in evaluating creditworthiness and assessing the risk profile of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) applying for loans. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply industry best practices in credit analysis and risk management, working alongside experienced professionals who have revolutionized SME lending in the digital age.

Responsibilities

• Credit Evaluation: Evaluate SME loan applicants' creditworthiness using financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data
• Risk Assessment: Assess borrower risk profiles by identifying key risks, mitigating factors, and overall financial strength
• Due Diligence & Compliance: Conduct due diligence to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and credit standards
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather information and build a full understanding of borrowers' businesses and financial positions
• Credit Decisioning & Portfolio Monitoring: Prepare credit recommendations, maintain accurate loan records, monitor existing borrowers, and help improve underwriting processes and systems

Requirements

• Relevant Experience: Preferably a fresh graduate or with maximum 1 year of experience
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and make sound decisions
• Communication & Work Style: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively, independently, and under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Technical Proficiency & Growth Mindset: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications, with a strong desire to learn and build a career in credit underwriting and risk assessment

Benefits

• Salary: PHP 25,000-28,000 monthly gross
