Job summary

NRG Energy is hiring Field Service Professionals to install, service, and troubleshoot smart home technology in customer homes. You will train on industry-leading products, manage inventory, and drive sales through opportunities to upsell services.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transport are required, with a 20-mile city radius constraint. Base pay is hourly with an unlimited commission plan and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Earn piece rate pay and unlimited commissions.
• Become an expert on smart home technology by training on industry-leading products.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home technology in customer homes.
• Explain system capabilities and operational instructions to customers.
• Control your income by offering additional products and services.
• Leverage appointments into leads and revenue.
