Job summary

MicroSourcing in Cagayan De Oro is seeking a Back-End Developer to join our onsite team. You will build and maintain robust backend applications and APIs, translating business needs into efficient server-side logic and database structures.

You'll work with cross-functional teams, integrate third-party services, and focus on performance and reliability. A Bachelor's in CS/IT is required, with 2–5 years of backend experience using Java/C#/Node.js/Python/PHP.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Your Role

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in backend development using languages such as Java, C#, Node.js, Python, or PHP
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Proficiency with Git and standard development workflows

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT)
• Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams
