Job summary

Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation (SEPCO) is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to provision and manage cloud-based infrastructure supporting services. You will deploy via CI/CD pipelines, handle Linux servers, implement IaC with Terraform, and drive POC initiatives for improvements.

The role requires 3+ years in SRE or related fields, strong Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tool experience (Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or related experience.
• Proficient with cloud services such as AWS.
• Understanding of scalability, high availability and distributed systems.
• Strong Linux expertise (Ubuntu and Amazon Linux).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
• Scripting with Bash or Python; automation with Ansible.
• Experience with logging/tracing tools like ELK Stack or Splunk.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Development, DevOps, Security).

• Review cloud operation tasks, deployments, service requests, and security measures to ensure zero failure.
• Create work plans for complex tasks to streamline project execution and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

• Must be college graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or related roles
• Proficient with cloud services like AWS services
• Understanding of scalability, high availability, and distributed system principles
• Expertise in Linux environments, particularly Ubuntu and Amazon Linux
• Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with provisioning resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) particularly Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
• Hands-on experience in scripting languages such as Bash or Python and automation tools particularly Ansible
• Experience in logging and tracing tools like ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Development, DevOps, Security)
