Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of production systems. You will design automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring, and collaborate with development teams to improve resilience and operability.

Remote work setup with a focus on cloud-based infrastructures. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in DevOps/SRE, Linux expertise, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes and IaC tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering roles.
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with scripting/programming (e.g., Python, Bash, Go, or similar).

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of production systems and services.

• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve incidents to minimize downtime.

Your Role

What You Need

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)


• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)


• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)


• Understanding of incident management, on-call processes, and SLAs/SLOs/SLIs


• Experience working in Agile or high-availability production environments
