Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and to optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and security.

You will automate deployment, monitoring, and operational processes across development and production environments, collaborating with development and operations teams to improve reliability and release cycles, applying infrastructure as code and containerization where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with scripting or programming in Bash, Python, or similar languages.

Your Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles

Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar)

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Experience with scripting or programming in Bash, Python, or similar languages

Preferred Skills/expertise

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts

Experience working in Agile/Scrum or fast-paced delivery environments
