Job summary

BAYES is seeking a Site Engineer to lead on-site activities, coordinate stakeholders, and prepare schedules and submission documents. You will review engineering drawings and perform basic calculations while ensuring safety systems are followed and progress is tracked on site.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering qualification with at least 2 years in construction or industrial engineering; candidates with no prior experience will also be considered. This position is on-site and fast-paced.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in Construction/Industrial Engineering (experience preferred).
• Willingness to consider candidates with no prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and coordination on project sites.
• Prepare submission documents and detailed work schedules.
• Coordinate stakeholders including customers, consultants, sub-contractors, and vendors.
• Understand and review engineering drawings; perform basic calculations.
• Oversee on-site safety management system and report progress.
• Align with applicable Singapore standards or Code of Practice.
• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
