Job summary

Jasmig Construction Corporation is seeking a Safety Officer to monitor, evaluate and ensure that all site work is performed safely and in accordance with design drawings and schedules.

You will coordinate with contractors, submit weekly progress reports to the Project Engineer/Project Manager, conduct regular inspections, manage safety supplies, and help control project costs while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate and ensure that all the work in site is being carried out safely.
• Implements safety requirements for the project.
• Follows up his/her contractor and subcontractor to ensure that the work is being carried out as per design drawings, specifications and planned dates in schedule.
• Submits weekly reports about the progress or even the delay of work to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.
• Conducting regular job site inspections.
• Ensures that the supplies are properly maintained.
• Manages all the costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations until the completion of the project.
• Assists the Office Engineer in preparation of bid proposals such as financial, technical and eligibility requirements.
• Prepares construction, manpower and equipment schedules.
• Estimates and expenses of the work to minimize the costs of the project and enhance value for money while still achieving the required standards and quality.
