Power Dimension, Inc. is seeking a Planning Engineer to identify cost-effective construction approaches and to establish robust project timelines. You will ensure deadlines are achieved and coordinate with cross-functional teams for on-time delivery.
The role requires a Civil or Electrical engineering degree, familiarity with MS Project/Planning software, and 1–2 years of project management experience. Willing to be deployed to Quezon City and to start ASAP.
The Planning Engineer identifies and develops the most appropriate and cost-effective construction and engineering approaches for projects. They are responsible for establishing the project timeline and ensuring that all specified deadlines are achieved.
Review and analyze project scope, technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Develop and structure the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in alignment with project deliverables to prepare detailed, logic-driven project schedules using planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
Collaborate with the Construction Quantity Surveyors to create an ordering schedule to align procurement cycles with the critical path and lead-time constraints, ensuring materials arrive on time without causing delays.
Update and maintain the project schedule on a weekly and/or monthly basis to monitor actual progress against the approved baseline schedule.
Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines through proactive schedule monitoring and corrective actions.
Develop contingency plans and recovery strategies to address schedule changes, risks, or unforeseen delays in collaboration with the Project Engineer and Project Managers.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments to synchronize construction phases, development milestones, and critical paths.
Create external weekly reports that document cumulative accomplishments, provide photographic evidence of physical progress, and resource allocation of metrics.
Attend and preside over client coordination meetings to report on project accomplishments and resolve critical issues.
A graduate with a bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil or Electrical).
Knowledgeable of MS Project or Any Planning Software and Project Management.
Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in project management.
Willing to be assigned/deployed to QUEZON CITY.
Willing to start immediately/ASAP.
