A leading construction firm in the Philippines is seeking a Planning & Scheduling Engineer to support project execution. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree, at least 3 years of experience, and strong skills in Autocad and scheduling software. Responsible for supporting the project in terms of Planning & Scheduling, assessment of productivity rate and monitoring of actual project accomplishment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares the master schedule with the Project Manager for the final approval of the Client or PMT group.
• Assists the Project Manager for the project execution plan, prepare work methodology, work phasing and sequence of work based on the approved construction schedule.
• Prepares the Manpower and Equipment Loading with the Project Manager to be used as the reference of the QS, Equipment and Assets, Procurement and HR Department.
• Monitors and updates the schedule accurately through the submitted and verified accomplishment report of the Site Operations Department Checking and approval of subcon billing.
• Weekly Updating of S-curve to determine the Planned vs Actual Accomplishment of the project
• Assists the Project Manager with the weekly progress report (both internal and external)
• Plans the weekly look ahead schedule with the Site Operations Department to provide with the Subcontractors on site.
• Close monitor any possible change/variation orders that has a possible effect on the project schedule and other factors that might affect the schedule such as weather and other force majeure factors.
• Attends and/or presides weekly coordination meetings.
• Formalizes discussions, requests and information through issuance of letters (both external and internal concerns).
• Responsible for the closeout of all/any EOT claims of the project to the PMT or Client.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education
   • Engineering graduate preferably CE
   • Licensed / Not Licensed Engineer
2. Experience
   • At least 3 years’ experience with the position
3. Technical Competencies ("Know-how")
   • Knows how to operate Autocad software & Plan swift
   • Excel, Power point and Document
   • Know how to do operate P6 and MS Project or any Scheduling software alike
