As a Site Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of our Technical Support and Quality Control (TSQ) Team, providing technical expertise, site coordination, troubleshooting, quality control, and project support across assigned water and wastewater treatment projects.
This is a hands-on engineering role suited for an experienced mechanical engineer who is comfortable working on-site, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and translating engineering standards into actual project execution.
Provide technical support and assistance as part of the Technical Team across all scopes of work assigned to HTPC/NBWS under the project.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects as the company's representative when assigned to a project or project site.
Work with the Technical Team in design processes, strategies, troubleshooting, and other technical requirements.
Regularly apply your training, technical knowledge, and professional expertise across all areas of work assigned to you.
Conduct systematic daily tasks and routines, including performing system checks, ensuring assigned scopes of work are completed according to required standards, and providing training when necessary to team members to ensure adherence to company standards.
Submit regular daily progress reports to the main office while on-site and promptly report any significant issues, concerns, or developments to your immediate supervisor.
Build and maintain professional relationships and partnerships with authorized client representatives, contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth and mutually beneficial working relationships.
Develop and maintain good client relationships to build trust, encourage loyalty, and support the continued preference for the company's products and services.
Sustain excellent customer and partner relations and service across all assigned sectors or clients by ensuring that client needs before, during, and after installation are addressed efficiently and with quality by the Technical Team assigned to the project.
Conduct product presentations for clients and partners when necessary.
Perform management-related work, including coordination, documentation, reporting, and liaising between clients or partners and NBWS regarding requirements needed by the client or head office, including formal requests, billing requests, progress reports, and other project documentation.
Apply construction management and project management knowledge and experience in the execution and coordination of assigned projects.
Perform other required tasks necessary to support project and company operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in construction, engineering, water/wastewater treatment, industrial utilities, or related industries.
Solid experience in construction management and project management.
Experience working in an actual project-site environment and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and has working knowledge of HVAC systems and engineering applications.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment installation, and site implementation.
Able to interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and technical documents.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of construction methods, site coordination, quality requirements, and project documentation.
Strong leadership and coordination skills.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers, contractors, clients, and other project stakeholders.
Willing to be assigned to project sites.
