Job summary

Aggreko plc is seeking a Site Generator Operator for NPC Ticao 2 MW Site in the Philippines. You will monitor diesel generators, transformers, and fuel systems, perform A and B maintenance, and strive for maximum uptime and safe operations.

Based in Ticao, Philippines, you will generate daily to monthly reports, manage spare parts and fuel, and follow Aggreko safety and environmental standards while supporting continuous power delivery across the region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical vocational certificate in electrical or mechanical fields.
• Experience operating generator systems (1–2 years preferred).
• Knowledge of generator control panels, fuel systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor diesel generators, transformers, and related equipment to ensure continuous power.
• Execute routine inspections and scheduled A and B Services, including oil changes and component replacements.
• Respond to system alarms and faults, performing basic repairs or escalating complex issues.
• Monitor fuel levels and quality across all units to prevent outages and maintain Aggreko standards.
• Forecast fuel needs and coordinate deliveries to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Maintain logs of run hours, performance metrics, and fuel reconciliation reports.
• Enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations, including spill prevention.
• Identify abnormal fuel consumption patterns to support fuel efficiency initiatives.
• Track and maintain stock of essential spare parts, fuel, and consumables.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operations and fuel usage.

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Site Generator Operator for NPC Ticao 2 MW Site, Philippines. You’ll be responsible to manage our power equipment. You will ensure safe, reliable operations by monitoring generator and transformer performance, overseeing fuel systems, and conducting A and B maintenance services. Your goal is to maximize uptime and efficiency through proactive technical care. Help us deliver consistent power solutions across the region.

What you’ll do as Site Generator Operator:

• Operate and monitor diesel generators, transformers, and related equipment to ensure continuous power.

• Respond promptly to system alarms and faults, performing basic repairs or escalating complex issues.

• Monitor fuel levels and quality across all units to prevent outages and maintain Aggreko standards.

• Maintain precise logs of run hours, performance metrics, and fuel reconciliation reports.

• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations, including spill prevention.

• Track and maintain the stock of essential spare parts, fuel, and consumables.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operations and fuel usage while keeping the site organized.

You are:

• High school diploma or technical vocational certificate in electrical or mechanical fields.

• At least 1–2 years of experience operating generator systems, preferably in Aggreko or similar environments.

• Knowledge of generator control panels, fuel systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Aggreko’s operational standards, fuel management protocols, and service procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
