Job summary

Aggreko plc in the Philippines is seeking a Site Generator Operator for a 3MW project on Dinagat Island. You will manage power equipment and ensure safe, reliable operations by monitoring generators and transformers, overseeing fuel systems, and performing A and B maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical certificate, 1–2 years of generator experience, knowledge of control panels and fuel systems, and willingness to work shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Operate and monitor diesel generators, transformers and related equipment.
• Perform routine A and B maintenance including oil changes and part replacements.
• Respond to alarms and faults, perform basic repairs or escalate as needed.
• Monitor fuel levels, quality and consumption; coordinate fuel deliveries.
• Maintain logs of run hours, performance metrics and fuel usage.
• Follow safety and environmental regulations at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor generators, transformers and related equipment to ensure continuous power.
• Execute routine inspections and scheduled A and B services on equipment.
• Respond to alarms, perform basic repairs or escalate more complex issues.
• Monitor fuel levels and quality; coordinate deliveries.
• Document run hours, performance metrics and fuel reconciliation.
• Maintain stock of essential spare parts and consumables.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operation reports.
