Job summary

Aggreko in Manila seeks a Site Operations - Lead to supervise a team, monitor diesel generators, and ensure continuous power in line with OEM recommendations and client demands. You will allocate daily tasks with maintenance and support operations managers to drive performance and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a PRC Electrical Engineer license, has 3+ years in power project environments, and can read single-line diagrams, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Licensed electrical engineer (PRC) preferred.
• Knowledge of Aggreko electrical equipment (transformer, switchgear, NET).
• 3+ years in a Power Project environment or similar role.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams & Outlook.
• Strong leadership and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor generators, transformers and equipment to ensure continuous power.
• Ensure QHSE policies, LOTO, ESR, lifting, spill prevention, PPE are followed.
• Assign daily production tasks per monthly shift planning.
• Coordinate with client load demands and attend customer meetings.
• Notify Service Manager of any potential availability shortfalls.
• Monitor site/asset alarms and support incident resolution.
• Ensure oil samples are analysed and actions taken by maintenance.
• Perform first-line analysis of asset performance and actions.
• Collaborate with site team to optimize asset availability and manpower.
• Maintain accurate production data and proper site inventory usage.
• Keep site tidy with 5S and OPOS standards; induct and develop personnel.

Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Site Operations - Lead to lead a team that handles onsite production activities to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and performance in line with OEM recommendations, SSO and client load demands. The role is aimed to have a person responsible for supervision, analysis of all site load control systems via SCADA and allocation of daily tasks in conjunction with Maintenance Teams to support Operations Managers in driving continued performance improvement and operational efficiency. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. We keep our customers’ worlds on. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.

What you’ll do as Site Operations - Lead:

• Operate and monitor diesel generators, transformers, and related equipment to ensure continuous power.
• Ensure all QHSE, policies and procedures are followed on sites (LOTO, ESR, Lifting, Tool Calibration, spill prevention, Technician’s PPE, …)
• Ensure proper daily assignment of Production Team as per monthly shift planning,
• Tight follow up on client load demands to meet the expectations
• Attend to meeting with customer operations teams, where required
• Provide advance notification to Service Manager when availability will not satisfy customer demand
• Monitor and act on site/asset alarms to support any incident resolution
• Ensure oil samples are analysed and proper actions taken by Maintenance Team where required
• Perform first line analysis on asset performance, and proper actions.
• Work closely with site team to optimise asset availability, condition, performance, and manpower allocation
• Maintain accurate production data.
• Ensure proper and optimum usage of sites inventory.
• Ensure that the site is kept in tidy conditions with strong 5S and OPOS (Optimised Project Operations Standards) implementation
• Ensure employees in his team are properly inducted and developed (coached/trained)

You are:

• Preferably PRC Electrical Engineer licensed (REE).
• Knowledgeable in Aggreko electrical equipment (transformer, switchgear, NET, etc.)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience on a Power Project environment or in a similar role
• Ability to read single line and electrical diagrams.
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and analyse Performance data
• Able to understand the operations of plant equipment’s.
• Computer literate (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams & Outlook essential).
• Ability to work in a cohesive team.
• Strong knowledge of equipment safe operating procedures
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to withstand pressure.
• Strong Leadership skills
• Well organized, able to handle multi tasks in a controlled manner.
• Analytical thinking with attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and personnel development skills
