Job summary

Maersk is seeking an analytical Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting (Site Business Controller) to partner with warehousing and logistics operations. You will strengthen financial governance, drive profitability, and maintain strong internal controls at site level.

Work with Operations, Site Management and Finance stakeholders to improve performance, close gaps, and ensure compliance with company policies and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial controls, governance and risk management.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate financial insights into operational actions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Collaborative and proactive with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve financial performance of warehouse sites.
• Conduct reviews to identify revenue leakage, costs and billing gaps.
• Partner with Site Managers to implement corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate provisions and month-end accruals.
• Oversee billing accuracy and timeliness per contracts.
• Act as first line of defense for operational and financial risks.
• Support audits and remediation activities, including governance improvements.
• Drive process improvements and system implementation with cross-functional teams.
