Job summary

The VITO Group in the Philippines seeks a Site Engineer – Traction Power Supply System to supervise field installation, testing, and pre-commissioning of MV AC/DC switchgear, transformers, PSCADA, and control cables on rail projects.

You will oversee method statements, guide subcontractors on cable laying and termination, support SAT and commissioning while enforcing safety procedures, and maintain daily progress and as-built documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / EEE.
• 8+ years total experience in Railway/Metro or Industrial Power System installations.
• Expert in Medium Voltage cabling, transformers, SLDs, and control schematics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of MV AC/DC switchgear panels, rectifiers, MV transformers, AC/DC distribution systems, and PSCADA/PLC control panels.
• Review method statements, equipment drawings, and cable schedules; guide subcontractors on cable laying and termination.
• Support SAT, pre-commissioning, and commissioning works while strictly enforcing Electrical Safety, PTW, and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain daily progress reports, configuration records, test sheets, and as-built documentation.
