Job summary

SUMITOMO MITSUI CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD. seeks a Civil Engineer for the Metro Manila Subway Project CP-103 to lead and supervise construction activities on site, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with license, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and the ability to read drawings; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Finish and oversee architectural works on projects.
• Manage and develop construction projects safely and timely.
• Conduct site inspections and take daily photos.
• Prepare method statements, inspection requests, and non-conformance reports.
• Supervise subcontractors’ activities, manpower, equipment, and tools.
• Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, and 3-month schedules.
• Attend inspections with clients and consultants.
• Calculate material quantities for site use.

Project assignment: Metro Manila Subway Project CP-103

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience in finishing and architectural works

• Manage, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner

• Conduct site inspection and daily photographs

• Prepare documents like method statements, inspection request, non-conformance and others

• Supervise and monitor subcontractor's activity, manpower, equipment and tools

• Prepare weekly, bi-weekly and three months schedule

• Attend inspection with client and consultant

• Calculate quantities of materials to be used at the construction site

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with License

• At least 3-5 years working experience in construction or the same field

• Can read drawings

• Understand the basic safety regulations and apply it for construction site

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Can work from Monday to Saturday (Sunday or Holiday if need) as well as shifting schedule

• Amenable to work as Project-based Employee

• Can start as soon as possible.
