Job summary

SUMITOMO MITSUI CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD. seeks a licensed Mechanical Engineer for the Metro Manila Subway Project CP-103, based in Katipunan, Quezon City. You will oversee MPF site operations, ensure work aligns with plans and specs, and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in construction, strong communication, and proficiency in Autocad and BIM. Shortlisted candidates should be ready to start and commit to project-based employment with Saturday work.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years experience in construction.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Preferably with knowledge in Autocad and BIM.
• Able to Estimate and Interpret Plans & Technical Specifications.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Amenable to work as Project-based employee.
• Can work from Monday to Saturday schedule.
• Can work as soon as possible.

• Evaluates MPF Drawings and designed endorsed by the Designer.
• Monitor, Evaluate and Verifies the quality and productivity of all MPF works based on Plans and Technical Specifications.
• Prepares and submits necessary documents, drawings and reports for the project.

• Maintains site coordination with all other trades.

• To provide responsible site operations and able to implement works in accordance to best practice.

• To ensure proper work execution in accordance with approved plans and technical specifications.

• Coordinate works with subcontractors and to Architectural & Civil.

• Monitor work progress, schedules and accomplishment of subcontractors.
