IES Builders and Development Corp. seeks a Site Engineer in General Santos to monitor site activities, visits, and order assessments and coordinate site needs for quotation and project execution.
You will work closely with the Project Engineer/Manager and clients to ensure alignment with project scope. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, with preference for licensed ME and experience in coconut processing, food manufacturing, or industrial plant operations.
Site Engineer will be responsible for monitoring site activities, conducting site visits, receiving and assessing new job orders, and coordinating site requirements for quotation and project execution. The position will work closely with the Project Engineer/Manager and clients.
Monitor and supervise daily mechanical activities at the assigned site.
Receive and assess new job orders, work requests, and site requirements from clients.
Conduct site visits and inspections for new and ongoing job orders.
Take site measurements, gather technical details, and identify materials and manpower requirements for quotation.
Coordinate with the Project Engineer/Manager regarding site conditions, job orders, progress, and technical concerns.
Prepare and submit site visit reports, job order details, and recommendations for quotation.
Monitor ongoing mechanical works and ensure proper execution based on approved scope and requirements.
Coordinate with client representatives, workers, subcontractors, and suppliers as needed.
Identify site issues, additional works, and potential project requirements and report them immediately.
Assist in project planning, costing, quotation preparation, and work scheduling when required.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Licensed Mechanical Engineer is preferred.
With experience in coconut processing, food manufacturing, or industrial plant operations is highly preferred.
Familiar with coconut processing equipment, production areas, mechanical systems, piping, pumps, conveyors, tanks, and related equipment.
Able to conduct site assessment and understand client requirements.
Good communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to conduct regular site visits and be assigned to industrial project sites.
