Job summary

Celso C. Ferrer Construction Corporation is seeking a Site Engineer to lead daily field operations and bridge engineering plans with on-site execution. You will oversee lay-out, surveying, safety, and quality control to ensure on-time, safe, and compliant project progress.

You will coordinate foremen, subcontractors, and laborers, maintain site diaries, and report to the Project Manager, driving timely decisions and efficient use of materials on vertical and horizontal works.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer on construction projects.
• Ability to set out, level, and survey sites using total stations and auto-levels.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with specs.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols on site.
• Troubleshoot technical or logistical bottlenecks to keep projects on track.
• Maintain daily site diaries and report progress to the Project Manager.

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Site Engineer to act as the primary technical lead on our construction projects. You will oversee daily operations on the field, bridging the gap between engineering blueprints and physical execution. This role covers both vertical projects and horizontal projects. Your main goal is to keep the project moving safely, on schedule, and up to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Manage daily operations

• Layout & Surveying: Set out, level, and survey the site using tools like total stations, auto-levels.

• Crew Coordination: Direct foremen, subcontractors, and laborers, ensuring clear task assignments and efficient material use.

• Quality Control: Inspect materials and workmanship daily, oversee concrete testing, and ensure all work matches the approved technical specs.

• Safety Enforcement: Maintain and enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols on-site to minimize hazards.

• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot unexpected technical or logistical bottlenecks on the spot to avoid project delays.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate daily site diaries, track material inventories, and provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager.
