Job summary

AFRY is seeking a Site Driver in the Philippines to safely transport project personnel, documents, and materials to the site and other locations while ensuring the vehicle’s upkeep.

You will work closely with site teams, plan routes for timely deliveries, perform daily vehicle checks, report issues, and support general site logistics with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Local resident with good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle.
• Willing to work overtime when required depending on project needs.
• NBI and Police Clearances per background verification requirements.
• Good driving record with safe driving practices.
• Reliable, punctual, responsible and safety-conscious.
• Able to follow instructions and communicate with site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport employees, visitors, materials, tools and documents to and from the project site.
• Carry out daily transportation assignments per supervisor’s instructions.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy and well-maintained.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Plan routes to ensure timely transportation and deliveries.
• Assist with loading/unloading when required and ensure proper securing of loads.

We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious Site Driver to support our project and site operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of project personnel, documents, materials, and other items as required, while ensuring that the assigned company vehicle is properly maintained and operated in accordance with company policies and local traffic regulations.

The role will work closely with the site and project teams and requires a high level of punctuality, professionalism, flexibility, and commitment to safety. The Site Driver will play an important role in supporting the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the project site.

Job Description

• Safely transport employees, visitors, materials, tools, documents, and other items to and from the project site and designated locations.
• Carry out daily transportation assignments according to instructions from the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
• Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean, roadworthy, and in good operating condition.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, including fuel, engine oil, coolant, tires, lights, brakes, and general vehicle condition.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, damage, or maintenance requirements immediately to the supervisor.
• Arrange or coordinate routine servicing and maintenance as instructed.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, servicing, and other required information.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials or equipment when required and when safe to do so.
• Ensure materials and equipment being transported are properly secured.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, site safety rules, and HSE requirements.
• Ensure passengers comply with applicable vehicle and site safety requirements.
• Plan routes appropriately to ensure timely transportation and deliveries.
• Maintain confidentiality when transporting company documents or personnel.
• Support general site logistics and other reasonable duties assigned by the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be a local resident with good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle to be operated.
• Must be willing and available to work overtime when required, depending on project and site operational needs.
• Must provide a valid NBI Clearance and Police Clearance, subject to the company’s pre-employment background verification requirements.
• Must have a good driving record and demonstrate safe and responsible driving practices.
• Must be reliable, punctual, responsible, and safety-conscious.
• Able to follow instructions and communicate effectively with project and site personnel.
• Willing to support reasonable site-related transportation and logistical requirements as assigned.
