Job summary

BlueSky Education is seeking a Singapore-based Academic Manager to lead the academic design, quality and delivery of its programmes in Singapore. You will work with international teams, Sales, Operations, teachers, contractors and education partners to ensure academically engaging and well-organised delivery at a consistently high standard.

Responsibilities include developing curricula, recruiting and assessing staff, coordinating programme arrangements, and ensuring alignment with the company’s

Qualifications

• Native English speaker with good communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Teaching experience with young learners, including non-native speakers.
• Minimum of eight years' teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update curricula for Singapore, China, Japan and Korea.
• Recruit, assess and manage teachers and academic contractors.
• Coordinate programme arrangements and staff preparation.
• Ensure teaching delivery meets BlueSky Education standards.
• Collaborate with Operations and Camp Managers for smooth delivery.
• Provide academic guidance to staff and partners.
• Organise student testing, placement and induction.
• Develop timetables and allocate counsellors and teaching staff.
• Manage teaching resources and learning platforms.
• Conduct lesson observations and give feedback.
• Teach classes when required to meet demand.
