Job summary

BorgWarner Emissions Systems Spain SL is seeking an experienced CAE engineer to join an international team supporting product development and application simulation. You will run finite element analyses for structural mechanics and dynamics and perform lifetime assessments based on engineering guidelines.

Collaboration with material, testing and external partners will validate your methods. Required are a Master in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in automotive/industrial simulation, and

Qualifications

Master in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 3 years’ experience in automotive or industrial field with focus on simulation and mechanical development.
Expert skills in using the CAE software's Abaqus and HyperWorks.
Expert knowledge in the fields of mechanics of solid structures, dynamics and fatigue.
Experience with engineering guidelines for lifetime assessment, e.g. FKM guideline, VDI2230.
Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Finite element analysis in the field of structural mechanics and dynamics.
Lifetime assessment based on simulation results and engineering guidelines.
Support of turbocharger product development programs.
