Job summary

AMA Computer College Inc. seeks a dedicated SHS Academic Coordinator for our Zamboanga City campus. This full-time role oversees the SHS program, ensuring smooth curriculum delivery, supporting faculty and students, and maintaining high academic standards.

You'll coordinate curriculum implementation, schedule courses, monitor progress, and generate reports, while collaborating with teachers, parents, and DepEd regulations to uphold accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education; Master's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in academic coordination or educational administration.
• Strong knowledge of SHS curriculum and K-12 system in the Philippines.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with educational management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experience with DepEd policies and accreditation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in similar educational institution advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SHS academic programs including curriculum implementation and scheduling.
• Support faculty with lesson planning, resources, and instructional materials preparation.
• Monitor student progress and identify areas needing intervention or support.
• Manage student records, transcripts, and documentation in compliance with policies.
• Facilitate communication between faculty, students, and parents regarding academic matters.
• Organize and conduct academic meetings, workshops, and professional development for staff.
• Ensure compliance with DepEd regulations and accreditation standards.
• Develop and implement academic policies and procedures for the SHS program.
• Assist in curriculum development and review to align with standards.
• Generate academic reports and statistics for planning and decision-making.
• Handle student concerns, appeals, and academic grievances professionally.
