Job summary

Schott Singapore Pte Ltd. is seeking a focused Shift Operations Manager to lead production operators and technicians on the assigned shift. You will ensure safety, quality, and adherence to procedures while driving performance across planning, shipment coordination, and data monitoring.

You will collaborate with Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, and CS teams to meet on-time delivery, analyze KPI trends, and promote lean manufacturing and continuous improvement within the shift team.

Qualifications

• Experience in shift-based production management.
• Familiarity with KPIs like OEE and OTD.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise operators during the shift.
• Ensure safety, quality, and procedures compliance.
• Monitor production activities; resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct shift handovers and communicate critical info.
• Plan and prioritize daily production per shipments.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, CS for on-time delivery.
• Review schedules; adjust priorities by demand and capacity.
• Track KPIs: OEE, OTD, Scrap, Yield, Downtime.
• Analyze data to identify trends and improvements.
• Lead lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate deviations; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
