Job summary

Shangri-La Boracay, a luxury resort under the Shangri-La Group in the Philippines, seeks a Shift Engineer. You will maintain and repair all mechanical equipment to ensure reliability and safety, across rotating shifts in a high-end hospitality environment.

You will lead engineering technicians, prioritize emergencies, support projects, and contribute to audits and training programs. A licensed Mechanical Engineer with hotel experience and fluent English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Mechanical Engineer with valid license.
• Experience with an International 5* Hotel Group.
• Fluent in English.
• Willing to work shifts.
• Strong leadership and team supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all mechanical equipment in the hotel.
• Manage, coach, and supervise engineering technicians.
• Ensure equipment runs smoothly at all times.
• Carry out and prioritize emergency work requests.
• Support engineering projects through planning, supervision, and execution.
• Support audit and training programs.

Located in the country’s premier beach destination, Shangri-LaBoracay is a luxurious and serene haven for vacationers. As a Shift Engineer, we rely on you to:

• Responsible for properly maintaining and repairing all mechanical equipment in the Hotel.
• Manage, coach, and supervise the engineering technicians
• Ensure all equipment runs smoothly at all times
• Carry out and prioritize emergency work requests
• Support engineering projects through planning, supervision, and execution
• Support the audit and training programs
