Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in the Philippines (Bataan) is seeking a workshop supervisor-ready candidate to support production and ensure adherence to work instructions. You will help drive 5S and safety initiatives while analyzing shift results and monitoring KPIs related to quality, productivity, and material usage.

The role requires a college degree, experience handling people in manufacturing, and basic MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills. A diverse, inclusive workplace is valued.

Qualifications

• College degree or diploma is required.
• Experience in handling people in a manufacturing setup.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with 5S and safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists the workshop supervisor in implementing work instructions.
• Supports 5S and safety programs for people in the plant.
• Performs proactive daily shift analysis of process parameters.
• Monitors KPIs: product quality, productivity, material usage, and costs.
• Arranges schedules and coordinates overtime as needed.
• Engages with operators to foster trust and positive attitudes.
• Leads daily toolbox meetings on the shop floor.

Main responsibilities:

Assists the workshop supervisor in ensuring the implementation of work instructions

Supports the company program/projects/activities related to 5S and Safety of the people

Undertakes a proactive analysis, of daily shift result in control of process parameters and other production related activities.

Controls the KPIs for the shift: quality of the products, labor and machine productivity, material consumption, general expenses, flow, HSE.

Arranges schedule by organizing team members and contact person if there's a need to render overtime.

Interacts with operators to ensure trust, respect & positive attitude on the shop floor.

Leads/facilitates daily production/toolbox meetings with operators.

Main requirements:

At least college graduate

With experience in handling people

With experience in a manufacturing set-up

Basic knowledge in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
