Job summary

Symbos is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Consultant to bridge business requirements and technical delivery for clients across APAC. This role emphasizes solution analysis, design, and guiding teams through implementation rather than hands-on development.

You will work with stakeholders, Product Owners and developers to translate requirements into practical ServiceNow designs, assess impacts, and provide clear direction throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in ServiceNow consulting, solution analysis or similar
• Demonstrated ability translate business requirements into practical ServiceNow designs
• Knowledge of ITSM and/or CSM and platform capabilities

The Opportunity

We are looking for a ServiceNow Technical Consultant who can bridge business requirements and technical delivery. This is primarily a solution consulting role rather than a development role.

Working closely with the ServiceNow Product Owner, business stakeholders and developers, you will translate agreed requirements into practical solution designs, assess technical impacts and provide clear direction throughout delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into practical ServiceNow solution options and recommend the best approach
• Assess impacts and dependencies across ITSM, CSM, data, security, workflows and integrations
• Prepare clear functional and technical solution designs that developers can build from
• Advise stakeholders on platform capability, constraints and technical trade-offs in clear language
• Provide design guidance during build and resolve questions with the development team
• Support testing, defect analysis, implementation readiness and solution validation
• Promote standard ServiceNow capability, maintainability, scalability and upgradeability
• Keep solution documentation, technical requirements, risks and key decisions current

What We’re Looking For

• At least three years of relevant ServiceNow experience in technical consulting, solution analysis, implementation or a similar role
• Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into practical ServiceNow solution designs
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and/or CSM
• Solid understanding of tables and data relationships, Flow Designer, forms, roles, groups, ACLs and notifications
• Good understanding of REST APIs, integrations and IntegrationHub
• Enough scripting knowledge to review and discuss technical solutions with developers
• Experience working with business stakeholders, business analysts and developers through solution delivery
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in practical, accessible language
• Experience supporting testing, defect analysis and implementation activities
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification

Nice to Have

• Experience across both ITSM and CSM
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification in CSM and/or ITSM
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Experience working in Agile or similar delivery environments
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline
