Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join its ServiceNow Platform Scrum team.

The role focuses on design, development, and implementation of new features while enhancing configurations to improve business efficiency, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver scalable, measurable results. The successful candidate will drive ITSM improvements, handle integrations, mentor teammates, and participate in weekly sprints with quarterly

Qualifications

BA, BS or equivalent in related field; advanced degree preferred.
4+ years of strong hands-on ServiceNow implementation or development experience primarily on ITSM.
Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and patches; strategy and execution.
Experience with integration components such as SSO and LDAP.
Experience with web technologies: AJAX, XML, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, REST/SOAP Web Services.
Experience in SDLC processes including requirements analysis and system design.
Understanding ITIL processes: Incident, Change, Configuration, Release Management.
Experience with Run book automation and data integration.
Scripting languages: PowerShell, Perl, Python.

Responsibilities

Design and develop technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform following best practices.
Develop ITSM and scoped applications including new catalog items, customizations, and enhancements.
Design and implement integrations with other systems (APIs, authentication).
Research feasibility of new platform functionalities to satisfy business needs.
Create technical documentation.
Mentor less experienced colleagues.
Suggest process improvements and drive continuous improvement.
On-call on a quarterly rotation.
Lead developer for weekly and sprint releases; manage update sets and production deployments.
Handle ServiceNow upgrades and defects during regression tests; review release notes.
Recommend solutions to reduce technical debt.
