Pax8, Inc. is hiring a ServiceNow Developer I in Makati City, Philippines. You’ll shape and evolve the ServiceNow platform, automate workflows, and integrate with other business systems in a fast-growing cloud marketplace.

You'll work from onsite initially, then hybrid, collaborating with Technology Services to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. The role emphasizes hands-on development, documentation, and continuous learning with opportunities to explore AI-enabled automation and platform

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow solutions.
• Knowledge of ITSM, CSM, CMDB, SPM, HAM or SAM modules or equivalents.
• Experience with integrations and workflow automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, HTML/CSS, AngularJS and JSON.
• Understanding access controls, business rules, client scripts and UI policies.
• ServiceNow certification (e.g., CSA, CAD, Implementer).
• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Development & Delivery

• Design, configure and deliver ServiceNow enhancements that solve real business challenges.
• Translate requirements into scalable platform solutions using ServiceNow best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, demonstrations, testing activities and user enablement.
• Help ensure changes are thoroughly tested, documented and successfully deployed.

Platform Engineering & Integrations

• Develop and maintain workflows, catalog items, notifications, business logic, reports and platform configurations.
• Build and support integrations between ServiceNow and other business systems.
• Contribute to release processes and platform governance.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve platform performance, reliability and usability.

Operational Support

• Investigate complex issues, troubleshoot platform incidents and implement effective solutions.
• Support service continuity through participation in on-call rotations when required.
• Collaborate closely with Technology Services teams during critical incidents.
• Help improve operational processes and incident response practices.

Automation & AI

• Develop automation capabilities that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Explore AI-enabled tools and identify practical use cases that deliver value across the business.
• Recommend new ideas, enhancements and workflow improvements that support Pax8's technology strategy.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Create clear technical documentation, knowledge articles and platform guidance.
• Share learning, insights and best practices with colleagues.
• Support a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have

hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions within the ServiceNow platform. Bring practical knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as IT Service Management, Customer Service Management, Configuration Management Database, Strategic Portfolio Management, Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Workplace Service Delivery, or Legal Service Delivery. Understand how integrations, workflow automation and platform customisation create business value. Enjoy working with technologies such as JavaScript, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, JSON, Glide technologies and modern web development frameworks. Have experience working with access controls, business rules, client scripts, user interface actions and user interface policies. Understand service management principles and best practices. Can comfortably work in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and learning never stops. Are naturally curious, collaborative and focused on solving problems the right way. Produce clear, structured documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Hold a ServiceNow certification such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or a ServiceNow Implementer certification. Have a degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
