Job summary

Ascendion in the Philippines is seeking a ServiceNow developer to design, develop, and maintain applications on the ServiceNow platform, working with ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, and PPM modules.

You will customize modules, build workflows, integrate with external systems via REST and SOAP, ensure quality through testing, and document designs and deployment guides while collaborating with project managers, analysts, and admins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong ServiceNow development experience including customization and integration.
• Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, and PPM modules.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with ServiceNow scripting: Glide API, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts.
• Relational databases and SQL queries.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ServiceNow applications per business requirements.
• Customize modules: Incident, Change, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reporting.
• Gather requirements and translate them into functional specs.
• Develop workflows, business rules, UI pages, and ACLs.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other systems via APIs.
• Test, debug and ensure performance of applications.
• Create design docs, deployment guides, and SOPs.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance.
• Stay current with ServiceNow features and best practices.
• Collaborate with PMs, BAs, and admins to deliver implementations.
