Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) in Security Technology who is willing to relocate to Germany to support us at multiple locations. You will independently maintain and install security alarm systems, process small orders, perform maintenance and service work, analyze malfunctions, and train operating personnel and customers.

Qualifications include electrotechnical training or equivalent experience, knowledge of VDE/DIN/VdS standards, German B1 and good English, and strong

• Completed training in an electrotechnical field or several years of comparable professional experience in security alarm technology.
• Knowledge of relevant standards (VDE, DIN, VdS).
• German skills on a B1-Level as well as good English skills.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and customer-oriented thinking.
• Willingness to travel within the Germering area and surroundings.

Your Responsibilities:

• Independent maintenance and minor installations of security alarm systems (e.g. fire alarm systems, intruder alarm systems, video surveillance, etc.)
• Processing and documentation of small orders
• Execution of maintenance, service work, and minor installations
• Professional analysis and rectification of malfunctions
• Instruction and training of operating personnel and our customers

Your Profile:

• Knowledge of relevant standards (VDE, DIN, VdS)

• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and customer-oriented thinking
• Motivation and willingness to perform
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Willingness to travel within the Germering area and surroundings
