Bayfield Equipment Corporation in Cavite is seeking an on-site service technician with 1–3 years of experience in heavy equipment service or construction machinery. The role is based at our Cavite location with field assignments as needed.

The ideal candidate should have a background in automotive/ mechanical engineering, knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in automotive technology, mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment service or construction machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical/electronic systems, and diesel engines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and service manuals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; willing to travel for field assignments.

Aufgaben

• Perform on-site service, diagnose, and repair construction and road machinery.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and machine inspections per industry standards.
• Diagnose and determine root causes of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Prepare detailed service reports with required parts and labor estimates.
• Assist with commissioning, installation, and start-up of new equipment.

I. Qualifications

• Graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or another related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment service or construction machinery.
• Knowledge in hydraulics, electrical/electronic systems, and diesel engines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and service manuals.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to travel and work in field assignments.
• Well-prepared, attentive to safety, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Holder of a valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Willing to be assigned in Maduya, Carmona, Cavite

II. Basic Function

• Perform on-site service, diagnose, and repairs for construction and road machinery.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and machine inspections following established industry standards.
• Diagnose and determine root causes of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports, including required parts and labor estimates.
• Assist with the commissioning, installation, and start-up of new equipment.
• Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure timely access to necessary components.
• Support Service Engineers during field operations to effectively troubleshoot and calibrate machines with the proper diagnostic instruments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
• Participate in technical training programs to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
• Deliver reliable and efficient service to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Keep tools, diagnostic equipment, and company assets in proper working condition.
