Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Service Reliability Engineer in Metro Manila to safeguard the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems. You will monitor production environments, drive automation, and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to maintain operational excellence.

You will participate in capacity planning, CI/CD, on-call rotations, and disaster recovery activities while maintaining accurate runbooks and incident records to improve service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years in Application/Infrastructure Support, Service Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
• Knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, incident management, and automation practices.
• Basic scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud/microservices is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a production support and on-call environment.

• Basic understanding of scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud or microservices environments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be willing to work in a production support and on-call environment.
