Job summary

FUJIFILM Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. in the Philippines seeks a field service engineer to provide technical support for medical imaging equipment, including X-ray, Digital Radiography, Mammography, and Fluoroscopy systems.

You will handle commissioning, installation, testing, and ongoing maintenance. The role requires diagnosing complex start-up issues, training customers, and coordinating with Fujifilm Japan for advanced troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• DICOM knowledge and medical imaging relevance.
• Experience with X-ray, Digital Radiography, Mammography and Fluoroscopy systems.
• Background in Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering.
• Must hold Radiation Workers License (NEA).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and after-sales support including commissioning and installing medical equipment.
• Identify and fix complex start-up problems.
• Research upgrades and service contracts to meet customer needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to secure future business.
• Train customers on equipment features and troubleshoot implementation problems.
• Handle phone inquiries and support during office hours.
• Attend daily service requests and breakdowns; provide service support for marketing.
• Perform 24x7 standby for machine breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance under maintenance contracts.
• Support Sales for workshops, events, and procedures.
• Communicate with Fujifilm Japan Service Dept for advanced troubleshooting.
• Study Engineering Change Notices from Fujifilm Japan Service Dept.
• Implement Technical Service Recalls from Fujifilm Japan Service Dept.

Job description

Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical, including after sales support to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of medical equipment (typical but not limited to X-ray, digital radiography, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, computer radiography)
• Identifying and correcting more complex problems associated with start-up
• Researching, evaluating, and recommending upgrades and service contracts that will meet customer needs
• Developing on-going relationships with customers to secure future business
• Resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems and/or train customers on the features of the equipment they have purchased
• Handlephone enquiry and support for customers during office and after office hours.
• Attend to daily service requests, breakdowns, and service support to marketing.
• Perform24x7 Standby duties to machine breakdown
• Perform Preventive Maintenance for medical equipment as part of scope of works under Maintenance contract
• Support Sales in organizing, preparing and standby for workshops, events and surgery procedures, seminars, exhibition.
• Communicates with reports to Service Dept in Fujifilm Japan for more complex troubleshooting
• Study Engineering Change Notice as issue by Fujifilm Japan Service Dept
• Implement Technical Service Recalls as issue by Fujifilm Japan Service Dept

Skills and knowledge

• Knowledge of DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine), a standard for Medical Imaging and related information (ISO 12052)
• Knowledge of Medical products in X-ray, Digital Radiography, Dry Laser Printers, Digital Mammography systems
• Knowledge in Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering
• Radiation Workers License with NEA radiation protection division is mandatory
• Knowledge in FUJIFILM Medical X-ray equipment will be added advantage
• Able to work independently with general supervision
• Willing to share knowledge within internal team
