Job summary

GoodWe is seeking a Technical Service Engineer for our Philippines-based team. The role involves tele- and on-site technical support, commissioning, troubleshooting, and firmware/hardware updates for PV inverters and BESS.

Regular data-driven performance evaluation and close collaboration with installers are required. The position entails frequent travel and a mix of home-based work, with responsibilities spanning customer-facing support and coordination with head office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide tele- and on-site technical support and after-sales support.
• Perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and firmware/hardware updates of PV string, Hybrid/storage inverter and BESS.
• Report and coordinate with head office on product failures with clear descriptions.
• Evaluate PV plant performance by analyzing operation data regularly.
• Collaborate with installers and retailers to deliver best-in-class customer experience.
• Maintain follow-ups on technical issues and build strong relationships with installers and retailers.

The Role：Technical Service Engineer

This position is based inPhilippines with periods working from home and frequent travel.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the tele- and on-site technical support and after sales support.
• Commissioning, troubleshooting, firmware/hardware updating of PV string, Hybrid / storage inverter and BESS.
• Reporting and following up with head office in relation to product failure with clear descriptions
• Evaluating PV plant performance by studying operation data on a regular basis
• Pro-actively work with installers & retailers and provide them best-in class customer experience.
• Regular follow-ups on the technical issues and build a healthy relationship with installer & retailers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above: must be electrical or electronics background.
• Preferred minimum 1 year of working experience in the solar industry especially dealing with product trouble shootings
• Strong ability to analyze and solve problems independently.
• Reliable and self-motivated
• The ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong Microsoft office skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment,
• A friendly, positive and customer-driven attitude
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Adapt to frequent travel
